Feeling Space: Music, Movement and Sensory Extension

The Challenge:
How can the physical movements of a body transform the sound and visual experience through sensory light inputs?

The Result:
Light projection installation using a depth mapping camera follows participants while “drawing” light with the movement of their body. As music plays, the user’s body and dance rhythm becomes the controller, altering the pitch, delay and reverb of the soundtrack based on their X, Y, and Z positioning. 
Human movement becomes the ultimate music synthesizer in every random experience.
